I have been involved in dog training in some capacity since I was eight years old when I started
showing our families and friends Miniature Poodles in Conformation. When I was twelve I took a strong interest
in Obedience training and started pursuing that with some of our Miniature Poodles and my Keeshond, Shadow. A couple
of years down the road I aquired a Golden Retriever and with her my interest in Agility was born. From there it was
history. I have since trained, shown, and titled my own dogs in various avenue's to include, conformation, obedience,
agility, rally, tracking, shutzhund and herding. I am also active in K-9 Search and Rescue.
In 2003 with the help of my mentor (Florence Becker) I started assisting in her training
classes and even started taking some over. I have since helped many clients with pursuing their competitive obedience
goals, or simply having a well rounded, well trained family dog.
In 2006 I was able to attend Triple Crown Academy in Hutto Texas where I earned my Canine
Training Specialist Certificate. While there I was very fortunate to have the instruction of some of the top trainers
in the world. (Jesse Gabriel, Rob Dunn). They taught me more than I ever could of imagined and I owe them much of my
sucess today.
Currently two dogs call Veracity home. Shawna is my four year old Border Collie who I compete with in Agility and am showing limitedly
in Obedience.
Rain, is my two
year old German Shepherd, who is my current SAR partner, we are also working in Schutzhund, Obedience and Rally.
